Jamie wakes early, and for a long moment she simply watches Killian sleep. She wonders how creepy that must seem to some people, but at the moment she simply doesn't care. To her, every day that she wakes up next to him is a kind of miracle. To know that he is hers and that she is his, somehow still seems somewhat unreal to her.
There are times when she still pinches herself, thinking it must all be a dream, only to come to the happy realization once again that it's true. She is happily married to the man of her dreams, and together they have a beautiful son.
She smiles to herself, then leans in to brush the softest of kisses against his cheek so as not to wake him. Then she carefully slides out of bed and gets ready to head downstairs and make breakfast. All his favorites today, and for once she isn't going to let him distract her from her goal. As much as she likes her morning 'pancakes', today is special.
Which is why she leaves a note next to the bed wishing him a happy anniversary before slipping out of the room to start the day.
